OnePlus Reveals Five Upcoming OxygenOS Features
OnePlus has shown five OxygenOS attributes that it will roll out by the end of the year. All these features are suggested by users through the business's IDEAS program that started a while back.
The organization received a slew of ideas for future features. It received over 5,000 suggestions from its users in the past eight weeks. Over 2,000 comments are traded with the community.
The company has confirmed the five attributes that it has embraced. The 'top idea' from users is the Always On Display (AOD). OnePlus verified that it expects Always On Display development to wrap up around June.
That feature will most likely make its way to an OxygenOS Open Beta build shortly then, in Q3, likely. After that, you can expect it to make its way into a steady construct. AOD will hit the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, almost certainly.
Now, in relation to four other capabilities. They include a fingerprint lock option for hidden pictures / videos in the gallery program. OnePlus will even allow its users to create folders inside the OxygenOS Launcher's app drawer.
The next feature that's coming will offer improvements to Zen Mode. The final feature that the company has recorded has to do with the battery. OnePlus will present a notification sound which will let you know hen the battery is fully charged.
We don't actually know when will these features become available, but all of them are expected to hit stable builds by the end of the year. We have a time period for the AOD attribute, if nothing else.
